Field Installation Technician

Job Description
The Field Installation Technician position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of equipment such as radios modems routers and cables. Our technicians use their troubleshooting skills on a daily basis to diagnose and solve problems. WeLink technicians are responsible for installing and maintaining equipment in a residential setting. This will require the technician to work on the rooftop ladder and inside the customers home. Basic networking knowledge is required for router configuration. Technicians will have direct contact with WeLink customers on a daily basis and must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid Drivers License
Must be 21 or older
Attention to detail
Ability to safely lift 75 lbs
Ability to properly use safety equipment
Basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry
Ability to work on/from a rooftop and from heights
Climb ladder working on rooftops at heights with equipment
Comfortable working with computers
Cable/Telecommunications or Trades experience
Basic troubleshooting experience
6 months of similar experience
6 months of customer service experience
Must be willing/able to work Sunday - Thursday 10am - 6:30pm
