Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant for opportunities in the Springfield MO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art centers.
Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats colds flu-like symptoms cuts sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
Competitive Salary & hourly rates plus:
Daily Volume Bonus: This bonus is paid monthly andbased on patient visit metrics met per shift to reward you on those busier days!
Quarterly Bonus:Earn up to 5% of your clinical base salary based upon customer satisfaction scores and quality measures.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree required for Physician Assistants
Masters Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required
Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred
National Certification Active state medical licensure (ANNC or AANP)
Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing splinting etc.
