Delivery Driver
This role is responsible for the safe timely and accurate delivery and pickup of computer equipment to and from school locations and our warehouse. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent communication skills a professional demeanor and the ability to lift and move equipment throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and verify computer inventory before loading.
- Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deliver or pick up equipment at multiple school locations following a scheduled route.
- Obtain electronic proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Communicate with school staff to ensure proper handoff and placement of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company delivery van.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team to ensure smooth operations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Dependable punctual and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using electronic devices for scanning and delivery tracking.
- Must pass a standard employment background check and a school-specific background check in compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act.
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a combination of warehouse vehicle and school environments.
