La Trobe University is seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager to join our dynamic Strategic Procurement this high-impact role youll lead the development and execution of category strategies that deliver outstanding value across the University.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the development and hands on execution of end to end category strategies for various high value portfolios.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align procurement strategies with University priorities
- Deliver significant commercial outcomes value creation and future opportunities in the engagements lead.
- Champion best-practice procurement governance and performance reporting
- Shape procurement innovation in a values-driven future-focused institution
What Youll Bring:
- Proven experience in senior category management roles with a track record of leading multi-category portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
- Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to influence at all levels including C-suite and executives stakeholders.
- A Bachelors degree (minimum); MBA or CIPS certification preferred
