Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Temporary Offsite Linen Worker to join our team at the CHOA Scottish Rite Hospital Laundry facility. This role requires someone who is decisive proactive and a strong communicator. If you are committed to performance excellence and continuous improvement we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas
Collect and transport soiled linen in covered carts from various locations
Verify linen quantities during delivery
Perform regular linen inventory as required
Communicate effectively with supervisors and promptly address client concerns
Maintain excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
Uphold high standards of quality and infection control
Keep work area clean organized and safe
Follow all institutional procedures and Joint Commission standards
Operate laundry equipment and perform departmental support duties as needed
Carry out general clerical tasks such as answering phones and data entry
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Solid customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal communication and a positive team-oriented attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
Capable of standing walking bending and lifting throughout the shift
Able to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull carts up to 250 pounds
Flexibility to work evenings night shifts weekends and holidays as needed
Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
Basic computer knowledge with willingness to learn new systems
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare manufacturing or similar industries preferred
