The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining MuleSoft applications and integrations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our integration solutions providing technical support and collaborating with development teams to enhance our API management capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for MuleSoft applications APIs and integrations ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to MuleSoft integrations including analyzing logs and debugging applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for API design development and deployment.
• Monitor MuleSoft environments to ensure high availability performance and security.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of MuleSoft applications across various environments (development testing production).
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective integration solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes troubleshooting guides and system configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features tools and industry best practices to enhance support capabilities.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience 4-7 Years of experience required in MuleSoft with MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect certification.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in MuleSoft development and support.
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Mule ESB API Manager and CloudHub.
• Proficiency in integration patterns API design and RESTful services.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging MuleSoft applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. Jenkins Git).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and services (AWS Azure etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Ideally youll also have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk New Relic) for performance analysis.
• Understanding of security best practices for API management.
