Job Description

Job Title: Finisher C - Aircraft Painter
Job Code: 25958
Job Location: Waco TX
Schedule: 4/10 2nd Shift

Job Description:

Finishers are responsible for coating surfaces of parts assemblies and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint varnish enamel lacquer dope or stain using spray gun.

Essential Functions:

  • Preps and masks aircraft
  • Paint read and interrupt drawings
  • Utilizes Solumina to pull up work orders
  • Maintains a steady workload and turn out aircrafts to our high standards and within program budget
  • Ability to be certified to operate forklifts scissor lifts boom lifts etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  • Knowledge of the tools and equipment necessary to perform paint repairs and modifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work and get along with others and be able to coordinate with fellow teammates.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift weekends and overtime as required to meet compay objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong emphasis in communication skills both oral and written
