Job Description
- We are looking for a reliable organized and proactive Household Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a private home in Bryn Mawr PA.
- This hands-on role combines light housekeeping personal assistant support and pet care helping ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Light housekeeping and daily tidying of living spaces
- Laundry and ironing
- Light meal preparation (e.g. assembling breakfast simple lunches prepping ingredients)
- Walking and feeding two dogs; prepping dog food
- Running errands (e.g. groceries pharmacy dry cleaning prescriptions)
- Managing petty cash and household tips
- Overseeing and coordinating with regular household vendors and service providers (e.g. cleaners landscapers pool service)
- Organizational projects (e.g. tidying closets organizing the pantry)
- General household upkeep (note: deep cleaning is handled by a professional service)
- Dependable discreet and respectful of household privacy
- Proactive with a sunny disposition and a can-do attitude
- Able to anticipate needs and work independently
- Comfortable around dogs; prior experience with pet care is a plus
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic cooking and meal prep ability
- Experience managing household services or vendors is a plus
