About this Position Position/Specialty: RRT / Pediatrics Shift: Will work 3x12 nights 7p-730a holiday rotation Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Is on-call REQ No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs Depends on experience Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Preferred/Required: Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ: RRT certification BLS PALS NRP Certification/Licenses accepted: NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) Experience REQ: Pediatric Neonate and Infant experience Epic experience preferred Misc. Open to accommodating block schedule Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule Yes 60 miles. Are locals accepted Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: RRT SC license must be in hand at time of start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. Onetime payment of $20 for a parking pass. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
