Job Summary:
This role is for an Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist in an acute hospital setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide therapy services to patients with various needs including those resulting from orthopedic surgery neurological conditions and trauma. On-call responsibilities and weekend availability are required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to patients with diverse needs including those related to orthopedic surgery neurological conditions and trauma.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Manage on-call responsibilities and weekend availability.
- Adhere to facility protocols and charting requirements (Epic).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience.
- Experience with pediatric adult and geriatric populations.
- Experience in areas such as perioral orthopedic neuro surgery robotics and trauma.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- NCCT or NBSTSA certification.
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required including weekend on-call shifts.
- One 12-hour shift per two weeks may be called off.
- Guaranteed hours are 60 per two weeks.
- Time off is approved on an individual basis with a limit of one request per 13-week assignment.
- The clinician will not float to other units.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
Scheduling:
- 5 eight-hour days per week.
- On-call and weekend availability required.
- Shift assignments are not detailed.
