Job Summary:
This role is for a CT Technologist responsible for performing a high volume of CT exams including routine STAT and code stroke CTs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The technologist will work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals adhering to strict protocols and utilizing advanced imaging techniques. The position requires proficiency in various CT procedures and the use of specific equipment and software.
Location: Bolivia North Carolina United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing 70-80 CT exams daily across two rooms.
- Completing inpatient ER and outpatient exams including biopsies and drainages.
- Performing code stroke CTs routine and STAT exams.
- Utilizing GE UNIT systems EPIC and Visage software.
- Administering IV starts and contrast media.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency in IV starts PACS and contrast administration.
- Experience with inpatient outpatient and ER CT procedures.
- Experience with Abdomen Pelvis Head/Neck Chest Spine and Musculoskeletal imaging.
- Skills in aspirations/biopsies CTSs and multiplanar reconstruction.
- BLS certification.
- AART certification.
- ARRT CT certification.
- ARRT Advanced Cert.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Biopsy experience.
- Experience in a community hospital setting.
- Adult ICU experience.
- Experience with brain perfusion colonography CT arthrography drainage myelography and transplant studies.
- Visage experience.
Special Considerations:
- 12-hour day shifts on Monday Tuesday and Thursday.
- 13-week contract.
- Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed.
- No float requirement.
- No weekend requirement.
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked onsite.
- Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR.
- One-week unit orientation.
- Royal blue scrubs required.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts: Monday and Tuesday (0800-2030) Thursday (0900-2130).
- Schedule determined by manager.
