Job Summary:
This role is for a CT Technologist in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The technologist will perform a high volume of CT scans on a variety of patients including those requiring Code Stroke and trauma protocols. The position requires proficiency with Siemens scanners (specifically the FORCE model) and experience with various CT procedures. Weekend availability is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Perform 150-200 CT scans daily across 4 rooms.
- Operate Siemens (FORCE model) and GE CT scanners.
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen pelvis head/neck chest spine musculoskeletal brain perfusion CTAs and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Manage patient flow in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively with a team of varying sizes depending on the shift.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to strict protocols for Code Stroke and trauma patients.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with inpatient CT procedures (Abdomen Pelvis Head/neck Chest Spine Musculoskeletal Brain Perfusion CTAs Multiplanar Reconstruction).
- Proficiency in operating Siemens (FORCE model) CT scanners.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
- Experience with some trauma patients.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Outpatient CT experience.
- IV starts experience.
- Experience with PACS and Visage systems.
- Contrast administration experience.
Special Considerations:
- Fast-paced emergency department environment.
- High patient volume (150-200 scans daily).
- Weekend work is mandatory (Friday Saturday Sunday).
- No on-call or float requirements.
- No RTO (Return to Office) allowed after booking.
- Orientation schedule may vary requiring full availability.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts (7:45 am - 8:15 pm).
- Weekend work (Friday Saturday Sunday) is required.
- Shift assignments are pre-determined.
