Their facility in Keene NH is a center of excellence for precision engineering automation and high-volume manufacturing.
They are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support the design development and maintenance of advanced electrical control systems for custom production equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative high-tech environment that values innovation precision and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics for automated production and assembly machinery.
Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for new and existing equipment.
Develop HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens and interfaces to optimize user interaction and operational efficiency.
Integrate and configure auxiliary systems including robots test equipment vision systems and sensors.
Design and specify pneumatic control systems for machine actuation.
Support the assembly and prototyping of new production equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of control systems to ensure reliable performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering change orders and updates to existing systems.
Provide ongoing technical support to internal production and manufacturing departments.
Research select and specify mechanical electrical and pneumatic components for use in customized systems.
Ensure documentation and system design comply with industry and safety standards.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field from an accredited institution.
Hands-on experience in electrical design PLC programming and system integration.
Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems and industrial controls.
Strong understanding of pneumatics sensors and motion control systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in using CAD tools and electrical schematic software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with Allen-Bradley Siemens or similar PLC platforms.
Exposure to robotic systems and machine vision integration.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
