Job Description
Position : Project Director
Job location : Chennai
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Lead the end-to-end execution of EPC projects ensuring delivery within scope time and budget.
2. Oversee engineering design procurement strategy vendor management execution planning and commissioning.
3. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients consultants and contractors.
4. Drive project planning using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project and ensure alignment with contractual milestones.
5. Monitor project KPIs manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.
6. Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health Safety & Environment) and quality standards.
7. Manage change orders claims and contractual obligations in coordination with legal and commercial teams.
8. Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and participate in strategic reviews.
9. 25 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in EPC leadership roles.
10. Proven track record in delivering thermal separation or process plant projects.
11. Strong understanding of international codes standards and EPC contract models (e.g. FIDIC LSTK).
12. Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
13. Willingness to travel to project sites (domestic and international) as required.
