Job Description
Job Title Machine Builder
Duration - 5 months
Shift 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Location Holland Michigan USA 49424
Responsibilities:
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
- Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
- Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
- Follows assembly/test instructions e.g. color code wire coding pvc solvent welding and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
- Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP) if applicable to site
- Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- May read and interpret blueprints and schematic prints (product specific)
- Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
- Will plumb variations of standard and custom products
- Occasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical work
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures
- Update and redline drawings as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months relevant experience required.
- Mechanical electrical and pneumatic experience a PLUS
- Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild Ozone generators highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic prints
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
- High school diploma or GED
