Job Description
Project Title : Project Engineer
Location : Two Capitol Hill Providence RI 02903 (Offsite)
Duration : 3 Years (with two possible 1-year extensions based on performance and funding)
Job Description:
- Provide planning technical documentation and oversight of ITS and TSMO initiatives
- Develop and maintain manuals engineering specs SOPs and system evaluations
- Provide expert input on integration of traffic monitoring and data collection systems
Required Experience:
- 5 7 years in transportation/ITS engineering
- Strong understanding of traffic systems fiber/wireless communication IP configuration
- Experience with traffic analysis tools control systems and CAD systems
Certifications:
- PE (Professional Engineer license) Preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Optional but valued
- Active certification is not mandatory but helpful for proposal scoring
