Job Description
Job Title : Lead Solution Architect
Experience : 10 - 15 years
Location : Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Define and align Azure cloud architecture with O&G industry standards and company goals.
- Technology Roadmap: Build and update Azure-focused roadmaps; evaluate new Azure services for scalability and competitiveness
- Solution Design: Lead design of scalable secure cost-efficient Azure solutions tailored for the O&G sector.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with engineering and business teams; effectively communicate strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Guide solution squads; promote innovation and technical excellence across teams.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure solutions meet industry-specific safety regulatory and operational standards; manage and mitigate technical risks.
- Industry Expertise: Stay current on O&G tech trends; evaluate emerging tools and recommend integration.
- Vendor Management: Assess and integrate third-party tools into Azure solutions while aligning with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 15 years total experience; 8 years in solution architecture or software engineering
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure (IaaS PaaS SaaS); experience with AWS/GCP and multi-cloud migrations.
- Strategic & Analytical: Strong problem-solving and strategic planning for cloud adoption and optimization.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Client Engagement: Proven track record working closely with internal stakeholders to meet business needs.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring teams; lead cloud strategies and complex initiatives.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-900 AZ-305 certified.
- Familiar with TOGAF ArchiMate or equivalent frameworks.
- Knowledge of automation tools (Python GenAI AIOps) data integration big data and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes OpenShift etc..
- Deep understanding of O&G workflows (exploration refining etc. and regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
