Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role you will work with individuals of all ages focusing on the assessment diagnosis and treatment of speech language and communication disorders. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech language and communication abilities in patients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays.
Collaborate with families educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes.
Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech and language functions.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques for identifying communication disorders.
Experience in providing patient care within pediatric settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients families and multidisciplinary teams.
A valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
