Job Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Experience Required: 5 years
Job Type: Full time Permanent
Job Location: Kochi (Onsite)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days or serving notice and can join in 30 days.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to support our team on a project basis. In this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure and containerized applications. You will collaborate closely with development QA and IT teams to enable efficient deployments automate infrastructure and ensure production stability throughout the contract duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Set up project environments and infrastructure from scratch ensuring best practices in security scalability and maintainability.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
Build and manage Docker containerized applications and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Integrate automated testing security scanning and monitoring into the pipeline lifecycle.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve system reliability performance and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to streamline software delivery and operations.
Maintain and enhance configuration management and automation frameworks.
Monitor system performance availability and capacity planning for cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering.
Strong expertise in Azure DevOps (Pipelines Repos Boards Artifacts).
Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash PowerShell or Python).
Knowledge of cloud services preferably Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana Azure Monitor).
Good understanding of networking DNS and system administration.
Experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Helm ArgoCD or Flux for Kubernetes deployment.
Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to other DevOps tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions SonarQube or Nexus.
Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert CKA or Terraform Associate
