Student and Academic Services delivers administrative functions that support the student life-cycle from application admission and enrolment to examinations and graduation. Reporting to the Assessment Services Manager you will work closely with other members of the dynamic Assessment Services team to help deliver on its operational and strategic priorities seamlessly delivering examination activities for the University and ensuring our students are well supported throughout.

The Assessment Integrity Specialist position manages student academic misconduct allegations stemming from examinations. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have excellent communication skills keen decision-making abilities with strong attention to detail and the ability to work within and apply policy and regulations to current situations upholding student academic integrity.

Working closely with academic staff within faculties this role includes investigating allegations reviewing evidence providing timely outcomes to students and preparing cases for referral to the Universitys Discipline Committee. The role requires providing specialist advice about academic integrity to our students and staff implementing and improving internal processes to ensure a seamless student experience and partnering to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the University to build a positive student journey.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) fixed-term for 3 months covering a secondment until 2 December 2025 (or secondment) opportunity. The salary range is $74000 - $84000 per annum based on experience.

As the Assessment Integrity Specialist you will need to be an effective communicator to be able to communicate allegations and regulatory information to our staff and students succinctly. Great attention to detail and time-management skills are a must alongside understanding policy and the underlaying issues.  You will use your professional judgement and acute decision-making skills to determine a fair and equitable outcome for students in a timely fashion.  The role will require the ability to build collaborative relationships across faculties and service divisions.   You will need to have a resilient personality keeping in mind the student journey and educative responsibility of the role.
