Job Description

Fairmont the Red Sea a luxurious new property in Umluj Saudi Arabia is seeking a visionary and decisive Director of Rooms Division to lead our exceptional guest experience team. As a key member of the executive committee you will oversee all aspects of the rooms division ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize rooms division performance and guest satisfaction
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of managers and staff across front office housekeeping and guest services departments
  • Drive revenue growth through effective inventory management pricing strategies and upselling initiatives
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards for all rooms division operations
  • Analyze financial reports manage budgets and implement cost-control measures
  • Spearhead innovative guest service initiatives to enhance the luxury experience and maintain the hotels competitive edge
  • Ensure compliance with all safety security and environmental regulations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote room sales
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve complex issues with professionalism and diplomacy

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in luxury hotel management with a proven track record in rooms division management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent financial acumen including experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue management
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities particularly in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering world-class customer service
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and best practices
  • Experience in opening new properties is highly desirable
  • Relevant hospitality certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) are advantageous
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern hospitality market and cultural nuances is preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability practices in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus


Additional Information :

  • Understanding of Ultra-Luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • experience in project coordination scheduling and document control during pre-Opening stages.
  • Experience in pre-Opening is a must.
  • A proactive anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
