Fairmont the Red Sea a luxurious new property in Umluj Saudi Arabia is seeking a visionary and decisive Director of Rooms Division to lead our exceptional guest experience team. As a key member of the executive committee you will oversee all aspects of the rooms division ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize rooms division performance and guest satisfaction
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of managers and staff across front office housekeeping and guest services departments
- Drive revenue growth through effective inventory management pricing strategies and upselling initiatives
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain quality control standards for all rooms division operations
- Analyze financial reports manage budgets and implement cost-control measures
- Spearhead innovative guest service initiatives to enhance the luxury experience and maintain the hotels competitive edge
- Ensure compliance with all safety security and environmental regulations
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote room sales
- Handle guest complaints and resolve complex issues with professionalism and diplomacy
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in luxury hotel management with a proven track record in rooms division management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent financial acumen including experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue management
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities particularly in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering world-class customer service
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and best practices
- Experience in opening new properties is highly desirable
- Relevant hospitality certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) are advantageous
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern hospitality market and cultural nuances is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability practices in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
