Houseperson

As a Houseperson youll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. From maintaining public and back-of-house areas to supporting the Room Attendants your work will directly contribute to creating a clean safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

• This role involves heavy lifting and manual handling so a high level of fitness and strength is required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across front and back of house
• Assist with linen delivery removing waste and supply restocking
• Respond to housekeeping and guest service requests promptly and professionally
• Report maintenance issues and ensure safety standards are upheld

This is a part-time position (minimum of 32 hours per week) working on a rotating 7-day roster with a wage of $25.42 per hour.

Qualifications :

• Previous housekeeping public area or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
• A team player with a positive attitude and great attention to detail
• Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
• Takes pride in maintaining clean welcoming spaces
• NZ citizenship permanent residency or a current and valid work visa/permit. (immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role)
