We are looking for a passionate talent with former General Manager experience in hospitality to lead the operations of Mercure Budapest City Center a four-star Accor hotel under the Mercure brand in Budapest.
This unique property is located in the heart of Budapest in Vci street near Vrsmarty square offering 239 rooms a Winestone restaurant & bar 5 well-equipped meeting rooms - suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful management of a four-star Accor hotel operated under Mercure brand via Hotel Management Agreement.
- Strengthen the hotels market position search and identify new business opportunities; build up long-term business relationships.
- Plan and manage the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests talents corporate owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
- Be the heart of the hotel and lead by example; create a positive team-oriented working environment.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years experience in Hotel General Manager position
- Strong operational background
- Outstanding sales acumen commercial mindset
- Fluency in English language
- Hungarian language knowledge is a competitive advantage
- Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
- Leadership autonomy
- Service and quality minded character
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication and team management skills
- Ability to create positive effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
