We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Migration Programme Director to lead and drive large-scale cloud transformation initiatives for our clients. This role requires deep expertise in cloud strategy migration execution and stakeholder management across multi-cloud and hybrid environments with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex cloud migration programmes managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
As a Cloud Migration Programme Director you will oversee end-to-end cloud migration projects from initial assessment and planning to execution and post-migration optimization. You will collaborate closely with senior executives technical teams and external partners ensuring seamless delivery risk mitigation and operational excellence. Your ability to manage large-scale transformations and drive strategic value from cloud adoption will be critical to the success of this role.
1. Offering Development & Commercial Strategy
- Spearhead the design standardization and continuous improvement of Endavas end-to-end cloud migration offering.
- Develop our core migration methodology creating a comprehensive set of reusable assets delivery playbooks best practice guides and quality assurance gates.
- Architect and implement a sophisticated fixed-price commercial model for our cloud migration services. This includes building standardized scoping frameworks robust estimation models risk registers and clear contingency protocols.
- Act as the ultimate owner of the commercial viability of the migration practice ensuring our delivery model actively mitigates risks and drives profitable growth.
- Partner with Sales and Solutioning teams to shape winning proposals and ensure new engagements are scoped for success within our standardized model.
2. Executive Programme Leadership & Client Engagement
- Serve as the programme director and provide direct oversight for a small portfolio of Endavas most strategic and complex cloud migration programmes.
- Act as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor for key client executives navigating political landscapes and ensuring strategic alignment between Endava and the clients business goals.
- Intervene as the ultimate escalation point for critical project challenges providing decisive leadership to resolve issues related to scope budget timeline or technical complexity.
- Ensure the successful application of our standardized migration methodology on key accounts gathering feedback for its continuous improvement.
3. Practice & Thought Leadership
- Build and mentor a community of practice for cloud delivery leaders within Endava elevating the skills and capabilities of the entire team.
- Drive thought leadership both internally and externally representing Endava as an expert in cloud migration strategy execution and commercial management.
- Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies and methodologies incorporating innovations from Google Cloud and the wider industry into our core offering.
Qualifications :
Required Experience & Skills:
- 15 years of experience in technology with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within a technology consulting or professional services firm.
- Demonstrable experience building and scaling a professional services offering or practice area including the development of standardized methodologies and reusable assets.
- Proven expertise in creating and managing commercial proposals and delivery models particularly fixed-price and managed-risk contracts.
- A strong track record of personally overseeing multiple concurrent large-scale cloud migration or IT transformation programmes ($5M).
- Exceptional C-suite-level communication influence and stakeholder management skills within complex enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud adoption frameworks migration methodologies (the 6 Rs) and the associated tools and technologies with a strong preference for GCP.
- Outstanding financial and commercial acumen with the ability to balance delivery excellence with profitability.
Desirable Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience leading a practice with P&L responsibility.
- Google Cloud Certified (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect) or equivalent.
- Direct experience working for a Global System Integrator (GSI) or a boutique cloud consultancy in a practice leadership capacity.
