Vice President Brand Head Swisstel
The Vice President Brand Head is a key member of the Global Brand Management leadership team and a strategic partner to the Marketing department. They are the brands experience leader playing a central role in the operational delivery of the brand promiseensuring that each hotel around the world meets the expectations of our target guests across product service and experiential program pillars.
This role requires leadership of critical cross-functional initiatives by aligning efforts across various stakeholders: regional brand teams regional operations DT&S (Digital Tech & Services) F&B owner relations development training and culture.
The incumbent is responsible for the brands operational performance and oversees all aspects of the guest experience: identifying key needs developing strategy concept creation deployment strategy and flawless execution.
This role collaborates closely with the SVP of Brand Management and Guest Experience on brand positioning target guest definition design strategy and portfolio growth strategy.
Brand Strategy & Planning
Collaborates with the President/SVP to define the brands long-term global strategy.
Acts as the brands voice across functions (operations finance HR DT&S PR sales owner services).
Clarifies and communicates the brands business model positioning and proof points.
Leads the strategy to improve the brands operational performance.
Works with regions to drive the PURE Hotels strategy accelerate product modernization negotiate investments and drive renovations or exits when needed.
Ensures investment commitments are secured to elevate product quality strengthen staffing refresh F&B concepts and enhance the guest experience.
Oversees creation of the brands annual plan and 3-year vision.
Provides strategic guidance and defines objectives for the brands performance dashboard.
Analyzes internal and external data and trends to adjust strategies as needed.
Communicates the brand strategy positioning strategic pillars and competitive landscape.
Brand Performance & Development
Translates brand strategy into operational applications.
Defines priorities to achieve brand goals.
Acts as point of contact for rollout of new brand initiatives.
Regularly interacts with regional teams internal audit and other resources to understand challenges and provide brand visibility.
Maintains direct relationships with General Managers to foster brand culture and gather feedback.
Collaborates with the development team to present the brand to prospective owners.
Oversees end-to-end brand innovation.
Tracks the overall impact of initiatives to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
Operations & Culture
Champions a culture of operational excellence.
Develops brand culture talent recruitment and training initiatives.
Oversees the new hotel opening strategy to ensure brand culture is embedded.
Leads key cross-functional initiatives to enrich the brand experience.
Establishes communication platforms (webinars immersions training tools).
Works closely with audit and Go-To-Market leaders to refine brand operational standards.
Oversees the development of the brand-specific Quality Assurance program.
Defines standards for operational and capital expenditure budgets.
Partners with quality teams to monitor and track performance.
Style & Design
Provides guest-centric input on the brands design strategy in collaboration with DT&S.
Reviews and provides feedback on new builds conversions and renovation projects.
Participates in the creation of design tools and guidelines.
Oversees the selection of product standards (OS&E) with relevant resources.
Marketing PR & Digital
Partners with the marketing team to develop the brands visual identity strategy.
Contributes to defining brand assets (including digital) and photography strategy.
Ensures alignment between global marketing initiatives and the guest experience.
Develops partnerships that shape brand perception.
Serves as brand spokesperson to media influencers B2B clients and owners.
Qualifications :
7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in the hospitality industry with a demonstrated career progression in operations and brand management.
Five-year degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven expertise in brand strategy development and guest experience initiatives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Global outlook with strong intercultural sensitivity.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid partnerships.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
