Based in our thriving facilities in East Cowes the Tool Conformity Engineer will be responsible for the fault-finding maintenance and repair of a range of composite and assembly (jigs etc.) tools carrying out the required standard activities in full compliance to the Work Instruction and/or Standard Operating Procedure and without compromise to their own and colleagues safety. They will perform visual tool and master reference checks recertifications and stamp the tool if found to be conforming.
They will inspect tooling produced by the Tooling MRO department for conformity & stamp accordingly releasing tools back to operations when repairs are performed to a company workflow system. (i.e Fiix or Job Card)
They will also be expected to actively identify concerns (Hazard identification) make problems immediately known to their Team Leader (pull the Andon) and raise improvement ideas to solve problems (Kaizen).
