You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Electrician to install inspect troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in aircraft. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of aircraft wiring avionics and power distribution systems and will ensure all work complies with aviation safety and regulatory standards. This role is essential to maintaining the airworthiness and operational readiness of our fleet.
Install test and repair electrical wiring and systems including lighting instrumentation communication radar and power systems.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams wiring schematics and technical manuals.
Modify existing electrical systems to accommodate upgrades or custom requirements.
Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions using meters tools and diagnostic equipment.
Inspect electrical components for wear corrosion and damage.
Replace defective parts such as wiring connectors circuit breakers and relays.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet FAA EASA or military regulations as applicable.
Complete maintenance logs inspection records and compliance documentation accurately.
Follow proper safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment in hangars and on the ramp.
Work closely with avionics technicians mechanical engineers and inspection personnel.
Support aircraft maintenance teams during scheduled and unscheduled servicing.
Participate in briefings and technical updates.
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited aviation electrician or avionics program.
2 years of hands-on experience as an aircraft electrician or avionics technician.
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems schematics and wiring standards (e.g. MIL-STD ATA ARINC).
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
Understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and regulations (FAA Part 145/43 or military equivalent).
Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated work areas.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or relevant military certifications.
Experience working on specific aircraft types (commercial military rotary-wing or UAVs).
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Ability to obtain security clearance (for defense or government contracts).
