Purpose of Role
Responsible for partnering with executive stakeholders to understand their business market customers and industry trends to develop a product management strategy that supports company wide Objects and Key Results (OKRs) and provides Product teams with guidance to maximize their impact. Also responsible for successfully leading product development with a strategic focus on maximizing business results through effective product management practices.
Expectations
- Leads the development and execution of the companys product management strategy that enables product teams to solve business challenges.
- Oversees the design development and enhancement of new and existing digital products and platforms aligned to measurable business impact.
- Partners with stakeholders to identify and prioritize new product opportunities leveraging customer insights market trends and competitive insight analysis to inform product strategy through internal and external resources.
- Develops long-lasting business relationships with stakeholders and translates priorities and product strategy in a clear cohesive manner.
- Develops strong thorough business use cases and scenarios to support major decisions in enhancing business operations for digital product strategy roadmaps.
- Cultivates an understanding of how resources align to roadmaps and focus areas in order to address needed changes or resources and readily identify any overlaps or synergies.
- Ensures a healthy agile operating model amongst teams and proactively addresses changes in the operating model and business demands.
- Educates the organization on product roadmaps and its effectiveness in achieving business OKRs and outcomes.
- Anticipates potential challenges from executive stakeholders and proactively identifies solutions accordingly.
- Builds and manages high-performing Product teams through effective recruitment selection training development performance management and recognition; establishes clear expectations on assigned goals and objectives of the team.
- Provides coaching mentoring and leadership to product managers/owners to drive both individual and team growth.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 12 years of experience in product/platform management within an agile software development environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and releasing software products and digital experiences that drove meaningful business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing product/delivery teams in complex financial/technical industries.
- Deep knowledge of agile practices product planning performance management.
- Proven experience working with executive level business stakeholders and becoming a trusted strategic partner within the business.
- Comfortable reporting and presenting decisions and outcomes to Executive leadership.
- Strong people management coaching mentorship and training experience.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and uses sound judgement when acting on information.
- Experience developing performance and growth goals for team fostering an environment of open and ongoing feedback.
- Experience working directly with engineering leaders to inform architecture discussions based on product vision and potential future needs.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel including the ability to utilize functions such as V-Lookup H-Lookup Concatenating formulas and Pivot Tables.
- Confidentiality when handling escalations and issues that arise from the team and/or business stakeholders working to find solutions that are practical.
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced metrics-driven environment.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidates work location skills education and addition to those factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
