Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Autodesk programs Revit and familiar with LEED and energy efficient design.
- Understanding of building codes zoning regulations and approval processes as well as site-specific research with respect to these issues.
- Ability to review analyze and resolve mechanical and construction field issues.
- Experience in managing project schedules budgets and team assignments.
- Demonstrates effective leadership skills in directing multiple projects with multiple clients as well as mentoring training coaching and developing team members.
- Performs mechanical and plumbing engineering for the assigned functional area such as HVAC systems plumbing design and kitchen exhaust systems.
- Manages project schedules and budgets; communicates budget allocation to staff and coordinates mechanical engineering work.
- Conceptualizes the initial mechanical and plumbing design approach.
- Oversees the design and progress of a project including project coordination with city state and county officials and other outside agencies.
- Resolves conflicting design requirements unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements etc.
- Take a leadership role in new business development and building relationships with existing clients including attendance at networking events and meetings.
- Committed to the development mentoring and training of team members.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering orArchitectural Engineering. Professional Registration preferred but not required.
Experience
- Typically 5 to 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in HAVC and plumbing design is highly preferred.
