Job Description
Nitto Belgium was established in 1974 in Genk and is the largest production site in the EMEA region (Europe Middle East & Africa) of the Japanese Nitto Group. With more than 500 employees we develop and produce sealing materials and various industrial adhesive tapes such as double-sided tapes and surface protection tapes for industries including automotive semiconductor furniture paper production aerospace and metal processing.
Our Position
As a Cost Controller at Nitto Belgium you will have a strong focus on production costs and SG&A. You act as a business partner for various departments by helping them keep their costs within agreed margins. You also provide cost insights and deliver accurate forecasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing budget variances and challenging or advising budget holders
- Identifying and implementing cost-efficiency improvements
- Actively contributing to the monthly closing process with a focus on production costs and SG&A
- Reporting monthly group results and various KPIs
- Ensuring all processes comply with J-SOX and other internal control frameworks
Your Profile
A strong Cost Controller recognizes themselves in the following:
- Higher education degree in a financial field
- Initial experience preferably in a manufacturing environment or audit
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong asset
- Critical and proactive mindset; not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade
- Fluent in Dutch and English
