Introduction:
Are you passionate about electronics and PCB design Join our development team in Kassel and support us in maintaining and expanding our electronic component library in Altium Designer. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with professional EDA tools in a fast-paced tech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update schematic symbols and PCB footprints in Altium Designer
- Create new components according to design standards
- Ensure consistency quality and documentation of library entries
- Collaborate with engineers to validate and test components
- Assist in streamlining the library structure for ease of use and scalability
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a technical field of study (e.g. Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Computer Engineering)
- Basic knowledge of electronics and PCB design principles
- Ability to read and understand component datasheets
- Familiarity with Altium Designer or other EDA tools (training can be provided)
- Experience in technical / mechanical drawing
- Experience with 3D design tools (e.g. FreeCad Fusion 360 SolidWorks) is a plus
- Structured and detail-oriented working style
- Proactive communication and willingness to learn
- English skills at B2 level or higher (written and spoken); German is a plus
