Job Description

The Proofreader shall be tasked with reviewing and editing a diverse array of advertising materials which include print advertisements digital content social media postings and promotional materials. The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality meticulously detailed work that complies with established standards guidelines and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and proofread a wide range of content including presentations white papers digital assets and press releases
Ensure consistency in tone grammar punctuation and formatting
Adhere to internal style guides and industry-standard editorial practices
Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators to enhance clarity and structure
Check for proper grammar and spelling.
Identify variances from conventional treatments on typographic style.
Verify correct size and type specifications.
Ensure proper placement of copy on layout.
Confirm proper use of trademarks.

Required Skills & Experience:
1 to 3 years of professional proofreading experience preferably in the financial services legal or insurance sectors
Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint etc.) and Workfront or similar workflow tools
Demonstrated experience with long-form documents white papers and business communications
Exceptional attention to detail with strong grammar punctuation and syntax skills
Check for proper grammar and spelling.
