Job Description
EHS Specialists with experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical devices industries specifically in ambient area. Responsible for planning implementing and enforcing an organization s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
To perform:
- Ensure that the company complies with all Occupational Safety regulations.
- Advise management on safety and environmental concerns.
- Experience in processing and obtaining work permits related to company operations. For example: permission for welding jobs work in confined spaces height work chemical work etc.
- Assist in training programs.
- Develop and manage EHS programs procedures and work instructions.
- Create maintain and oversee the compliance calendar for all regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a role model for safe personal practices.
- Support development of job hazard analysis and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree of Science or Engineering.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and Safety regulations.
- Strong background in ambiental safety.
