Your Impact
As a Quality Specialist you will play a vital role in providing support to the Quality/Regulatory department for managing various quality documents and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage non-conformances and corrective actions utilizing internal systems and communicating across departments to investigate and record incidents
- Assist in qualifying requalifying and evaluating suppliers through documentation
- Assist in drafting and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
- Maintain processes and procedures to aid Quality Program in general and support certifications (ISO ACD government requirements etc.)
- Coordinate responses to requests from customers and sales for various documents and information principally the completion of questionnaires and surveys requiring response from LBBS and its suppliers.
- Work closely with other members of the Quality Department to ensure that all documents and records are stored and classified properly
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements initiatives
- Assist the Quality Manager with various other assignments including training others regulatory tasks and other projects.
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- Minimum high school diploma with two years work experience in quality regulatory or chemicals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and Power Point.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to learn Epicor P21 as it relates to assigned responsibilities: Researching customer product & supplier information.
- Ability to learn electronic portals (IQS TraceGains etc.).
- Ability to learn Standard Operating Procedures related to assigned responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication organizational and administrative skills.
- A proactive results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
