RN Pediatric Home Nurse
Shift: Full time night shift 4-5 nights per week
Pay Range: $38-$45
We are seeking a compassionate and skilledRegistered Nurse (RN) to support the transition of pediatric patients from the hospital setting to home care. This full-time night shift position involves providing direct patient care training and supporting families in the home environment and ensuring a smooth and safe transition process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their home during the initial transition from hospital to home.
Educate and support the patients family/caregivers in managing the childs medical needs and equipment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Operate and troubleshoot home medical equipment including ventilators tracheostomy care and gastrostomy (G-tube) feedings.
Monitor the patients condition and respond to changes or emergencies appropriately.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Experience with tracheostomy care ventilators G-tubes and medication administration in the home or hospital setting (required)
- Ability to work independently and manage complex pediatric cases
- Strong communication organizational and family education skills
- CPR certification (PALS preferred)

Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekend availability

- Louisville KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- CPR
- RN (Required)
