Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is looking to fill a critical role for an Interface Technical Project Manager supporting The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Program.
Candidates must be local to Northern Virginia.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress challenges and successes.
- Lead the planning design and implementation of clinical information systems ensuring projects are completed on time within scope and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations coordinating closely with client and internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Oversee system testing integration and user acceptance phases ensuring that clinical systems meet functional technical and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a scrum master.
- Oversee and manage the release and implementation of interfaces during go-live events.
- Provide regular project status reports and briefings to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills including regular executive level presentations.
- Strong problem-solving critical thinking analytical decision-making time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be a U.S Citizen
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Federal Health IT implementation products/programs (e.g. Oracle Health Millennium VA EHRM Military Health System (MHS) GENSIS) is preferred.
- Experience working with HL7 and FHIR interfaces
- Leadership experience with diverse multi-domain distributed teams and multiple simultaneous projects experience leading large teams in a matrixed management structure
- Experience working / supporting VA client is preferred
- Experience with large scale enterprise systems implementations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or SAFe DevOps (SDP) or other relevant SAFe Agile certifications.
- Experience working with JIRA
