Disney University is the learning organization responsible for leadership development ofCast Crew Imagineers and Employeesthroughout Disney Experiences. The Marketing team plays animportant role in cultivating a culture thatinspires learners to propel Disney excellence by unlocking their talents and capabilities through ongoing growth and do so thisrole drives the overall communications strategy and execution for Disney University supports learning initiatives and provides communication support to Disney University programs and projects.

This role requires a high level of collaboration and integration to align efforts around messaging positioning and prioritizing. This role supports others within the Disney University Marketing Learning Strategy and Learning Operations teams to clearly communicate offerings in a way that motivates and engages learners. The Marketing Manager reports to the Manager Disney University Marketing.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate across teams to align the learning goals with communications strategy for learning experiences across the segment as well as for individual businesses and individual learners
  • Develop identities for course/programming brands marketing strategies and integrated communications plans for various types of learning programs
  • Help manage content on potential mobile sites/apps email and other communication platforms
  • Develop detailed copy visuals and graphics to support learning offerings and associated marketing and comms plans
  • Measure the impact of marketing and communication strategies as well as site traffic on various sites/apps todetermine what drives participation and interest; influence the positioning tone and content for learning engagement
  • Integrate with broader Disney Experiences Communications teams to publicize learning offerings in relevant internal communication vehicles
  • Proactively generate big-picture thinking and seek out innovative and creative approaches to communication campaigns with an eye toward accessibility diversity and inclusion
  • Identify creative solutions to capture the attention of learners and program participants
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with members of the broader learning team as well as key internal partners

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of prior experience in marketing internal communications public relations or equivalent
  • Proficiency with the technical aspects of producing and publishing digital media content including proficiency in industry relevant graphic design software to create graphical content and assets
  • Knowledge of web publishing software and coding including HTML and CSS
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into compelling stories and communications strategies
  • High-level capacity to be a strong communicator collaborator and influencer with strong written communication and visual design skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Possess strong attention-to-detail for proof reading quality control and consistency
  • Strong creative sensibilities thinks innovatively and is willing to take risks
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment while effectively managing competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Disney Experience highly preferred

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience - preferably in Marketing Advertising Communications or related field
