As a Part Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional youll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Raytown MO. This role is ideal for a clinician who is looking to build meaningful long-term connections within a supportive school district environment. As an added benefit team members working in this Health Center get free access to the attached Fitness & Wellness Center complete with a pool and exercise classes.
Current Schedule: 20 hours/week
Monday:7:00 AM 1:00 PM (Onsite)
Wednesday:7:00 AM 12:00 PM (Onsite) & 6:00 PM 9:00 PM (Virtual)
Friday:7:00 AM 1:00 PM (Virtual)
With this role 3 days per week with times before and after traditional school hours are required. Actual hours including virtual/in person time is flexible.
What Youll Do
Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being
Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals groups couples or families
Help patients gain insight set goals and plan actions for personal and social development
Identify and diagnose psychological emotional or behavioral issues using assessments and records
Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Acceptance & Commitment Therapy Dialectical Behavior Therapy EMDR Written Exposure Therapy and CAMS
Counsel patients on stress substance abuse and family issues to modify or improve behavior
Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes
Participate in clinical care team activities including consultation case management care coordination and referrals
Enters data into patients chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
Performs other duties as assigned
What Youll Bring
Masters Degree in social work counseling psychology or equivalent field of study
Licensed mental health clinicians including: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS - care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression mood disorders alcoholism and drug dependency family counseling marital relationship grief loss etc.
Experience in crisis management abuse reporting and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting
Experience identifying preventing and treating of suicidal behaviors
Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources
Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred
