Summary Statement
Preferred Qualification
- Knowledge and experience with JCLs.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with SoftwareAGs Web Methods.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Eclipse IDE.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoots code within small- and medium-sized custom applications.
- Design improvements to code and scripts for environments that process and transmit data to other Delaware State agencies.
- Modifies sections of larger more complex programs; reviews program code for completeness and accuracy.
- Develops test data and test plans; tests and debugs programs.
- Addresses low-to-medium severity/criticality Helpdesk tickets.
- Writes program documentation.
- Writes incident and progress reports.
Job Requirements
- Three years knowledge of and/or experience with NaturalONE or similar Mainframe-hosted code languages.
- Three years knowledge of and/or experience with troubleshooting existing Mainframe programs and writing new programs.
- Three years knowledge of and/or experience with Adabas.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Conditions of Hire
- A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.
