The Senior QA Specialist works on exciting projects with KnowBe4s courseware development team. This role is to test course functionality review course content and create documentation about processes. Attention to detail and thinking outside the box are necessary in order to identify issues that need to be fixed. The ideal candidate should be an AI enthusiast with a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence to transform learning experiences. You will collaborate with other testers engineers and eLearning developers in a fast paced cutting-edge agile development environment creating excellent and fun eLearning assets. Providing feedback to team members that contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Test course builds write up bug reports track bugs andre-test fixes until the fix passes
• Review and edit course scripts descriptions storyboards and other deliverables with specific attention to quality and consistency of AI-generated content
• Create and refine custom AI prompts to detect specific quality issues in different content types
• Collaborate with Support QA and Courseware development team on issues that require research to figure out the fix to a problem/bug/issue
• Review graphics/art department deliverables to ensure the quality and adherence as storyboard dictates
• Review and periodically update our in-house style guide and include standards for AI content creation and quality benchmarks
• Help manage the master glossary and other master documents including AI prompt libraries and best practices documentation
• Create documentation of Q/A processes and develop specific quality assurance protocols for evaluating AI-generated content across all modalities
• Facilitate communication between content creation teams and stakeholders
• Coordinate efforts between team members as well as communicate cross-functionally with particular focus on optimizing AI implementation ensuring alignment on AI usage standards and maintaining consistency in output quality
• Stay on top of current browser and operating system patches
• changes and AI tool updates and brief dev/QA as needed
• Provide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to make all of the departments in courseware thrive
• Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse equitable and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
• Ensure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users
• Document best practices identify patterns in AI-related issues to refine prompt strategies and recommend improvements to AI content creation workflows
• Validate that AI-generated content meets copyright and intellectual property requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in eLearning QA
• Critical thinking and systematic problem solving
• Experience with AI tools ( Google Veo 3 HeyGen Synthesia Midjourney AI RunwayMLect.)
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Highly skilled with computers and able to get around a cloud-based directory
• Ability to balance efficiency with thoroughness
• Able to correct others while at the same time encouraging them to improve their skills
• Capable of detecting errors/bugs that might require intensive testing to find
• Familiarity with AI content generation tools and understanding of their strengths; limitations and intellectual property considerations
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated content against best practices and for quality consistency and adherence to standards
• Adaptability and openness to evolving AI capabilities and applications in courseware development
• Strong coordination skills to align team members on AI usage standards and implementation approaches
