Position Details

- Minimum 10hours per week up to 30 hours per week.
- Ability to schedule the maximum hours/duration listed for the internship to gain a more in-depth experience.

BASIC FUNCTION:- Although this internship does not guarantee full-time employment nor include employee benefits students and recent graduates are offered an excellent opportunity to gain extensive experience in managing public relations marketing and social media campaigns within a large public agency.
Support staff in the development of communication materials and multimedia products. Assist in the timely and accurate dissemination of information to District stakeholders and the community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Public Relations Political Science Marketing Communications Journalism or related fields.
- Recent graduates who have completed their degree in one of the above fields are also eligible to apply.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:- DMV Valid CA Class C Drivers License
SATISFACTION OF INITIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
YOU MUST ATTACH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION(S) TO YOUR APPLICATION UPON SUBMISSION BY CLOSING DATE:- Official/unofficial transcripts denoting completed coursework from a recognized college or university in Public Relations Political Science Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field OR a degree from an accredited college/university majoring in Public Relations Political Science Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field.

- Valid Photocopy of your California Class C Drivers License.
