Job Description
Your mission
Being a Product Security Intern on a Smart Energy Team is an exciting role and these here are your most important tasks:
- Assist in security policy development: support the team in refining product security policies and guidelines;
- Support security compliance efforts: help ensure our products comply with relevant security standards and regulations;
- Learn and research security trends: stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies and share findings with the team;
- Assist in incident response: support the team in responding to security incidents and help with basic information collection and documentation tasks.
Your profile
- Availability to work 40 hrs/week in our office in Munich Germany (no remote work is possible)
- We prefer candidates who can start in September
- Bachelors or Masters degree in information security computer science or a related field;
- Basic understanding of data protection product compliance and system/network security principles;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Proficient in English (spoken and written minimum B2 level) Chinese is a big plus;
- Familiarity with frameworks like GDPR IEC 62443;
- Previous internship or project experience in cybersecurity or compliance is a big plus
