Job Description

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited (UPA) provides valuable community based services to vulnerable people across Residential Aged Care Home and Community Care and Independent Living throughout NSW.

About the role

In the role of Financial Accountant you will report to the Finance Manager - Corporate whilst working within a wonderful finance team. Your role will focus on preparing the accounts for Support at Home utilising your financial expertise whilst providing business partnering support across the organisation.

As a highly motivated and organised finance professional you will have knowledge and experience in accounts preparation management reports coaching and educating stakeholders in the interpretation of financial results.

The successful candidate will work within a wonderful values based organisation focused on continuous improvement whilst delivering services in a customer focused engaging and innovative manner.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience in Financial Accounting supported by tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Accounting.
  • Professional Accounting qualification e.g. CA/CPA.
  • Commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated honest and flexible with a professional work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain valuable internal and external relationships.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
