The Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking a dedicated and capable Multi-skilled Labourer Roads to undertake hands-on labouring plant and truck operation duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads drainage and other assets.
What were looking for:
In this hands-on role youll carry out a variety of maintenance and construction tasks on roads drainage and civil infrastructure. Youll operate trucks and small plant implement safe traffic control read and interpret plans and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Youll be a key part of a supportive team contributing to high-quality infrastructure projects that benefit the community.
To be successful in this role youll need hands on experience in civil construction. You should be confident operating small plant and equipment able to read and interpret plans and committed to working safely. Strong teamwork adaptability and physical fitness are essential along with a willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.
Position Hours: Full time 76 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements:
- MR Class Drivers License
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Traffic Management Accreditation
