Both internal and external relationships and administration of all MATC Apprenticeships Supervision of apprentice in our region including events marketing public relations activities that lead to the smooth operation of and which foster the growth of apprenticeship Oversight of several MCT programs including but not limited to Building Automated Systems Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning Power Engineering Electrical Power Distribution Sheet Metal Steamfitter and other academic programs within the Pathway Leadership of several grants and special projects as they relate to to the MCT Pathway in support of students and the needs of local communities and employers Management of program vitality; advocating for and acquiring resources needed and implementing continuous improvements insuring vibrant programs current faculty and up-to-date learning environments Oversight of the Energy Conservation and Advanced Manufacturing Center The Associate Dean encourages and fosters a culture of inquiry about student learning in support of various college strategic initiatives works in collaboration with District-wide administration as well as the 4-yr transfer and community partners to align programsand curriculum to 4-yr colleges & universities labor market needs and to maximize opportunities for student success. The Associate Dean will collaborate with the Dean in the planning directing and evaluating all assigned functions associated with maintaining and delivering quality academic programs.
Under the direction of the Dean of Manufacturing Construction and Transportation Academic & Career Pathway this position collaborates with the Dean in the general operations of the Manufacturing Construction and Transportation (MCT) Academic & Career Pathway.The Associate Dean may also have responsibility in the areas of:
Compliance with all state federal and accreditation standards/requirements as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education Minimums:
Start Date: This position supports the Manufacturing Construction and Transportation Pathway and is available to start as soon as possible.
Hours:This position requires 40 hours per week. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Salary Information: Salary is listed to the midpoint of therange and placement is determined based on years of experience internal salary equity and a review of the applicants employment and educational background as listed on the fully completed job application.
