Job Description

Job Summary:

The Reporting Data Analyst is responsible for developing maintaining and delivering accurate timely and actionable reports that support business decisions. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements analyze data and present insights through dashboards and scheduled reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends issues and opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into reporting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Automate manual reporting processes for efficiency.
  • Prepare executive summaries charts and presentations to communicate findings.
  • Document report definitions data sources and processes for transparency and reuse.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and respond to data/reporting requests from teams.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Statistics Information Systems Business or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role.
  • Experience with data warehousing tools (e.g. Snowflake Redshift BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstratable understanding of data flows.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
  • Understanding of business functions like sales finance or operations.
