Job Description
Job Summary:
The Reporting Data Analyst is responsible for developing maintaining and delivering accurate timely and actionable reports that support business decisions. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements analyze data and present insights through dashboards and scheduled reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends issues and opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Automate manual reporting processes for efficiency.
- Prepare executive summaries charts and presentations to communicate findings.
- Document report definitions data sources and processes for transparency and reuse.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and respond to data/reporting requests from teams.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Statistics Information Systems Business or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role.
- Experience with data warehousing tools (e.g. Snowflake Redshift BigQuery).
- Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
- Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstratable understanding of data flows.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Understanding of business functions like sales finance or operations.
