Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with submarine fire control systems and a strong technical background.
Responsibilities:
Operate maintain and troubleshoot submarine fire control systems.
Perform diagnostics and ensure systems are functioning optimally.
Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and modifications.
Provide technical support and training to team members.
Document system performance and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Must have experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).
Familiarity with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
Target salary range: USD $80024.00/Yr. - USD $86589.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
