Job Description

Overview:
Paul F. Doyon Memorial School is seeking a caring enthusiastic and dependable Kindergarten Paraeducator to join our dedicated team. This role is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys supporting young learners in a nurturing inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in implementing daily lessons and activities

  • Provide academic and behavioral support to individual students or small groups

  • Assist with classroom management and organization

  • Supervise students during non-instructional times such as transitions lunch and recess

  • Help foster a positive safe and engaging classroom climate

  • Collaborate with staff and families to support student growth

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred

  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting is strongly preferred

  • Patience flexibility and a team-oriented mindset

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative
