REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY:
OPTION I:A Bachelors degree from an accredited* college or university.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENT INFORMATION:

*To receive credit for your education include a legible copy of your official diploma official transcripts or official letter from the accredited institution within fifteen (15) calendar days of filing your application/the end of the filing period.The document should show the date the degree was conferred and be in English; if it is in a foreign language it must be translated and evaluated for equivalency to the U.S. standards. Please submit documentation to and indicate your name the exam name and the exam number. Please note to receive credit for both your Bachelors and Masters you must provide copies of both degrees within the timeframe mentioned above.

**To qualify applicantsmusthave County status in the specified class as evidenced by holding or having held such payroll title in the service of Los Angeles County for the required amount of time to qualify.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Credit will be given to applicants who possess the following desirable qualifications:

EXAMINATION CONTENT:
This assessment type will evaluate the education and experience you list on a questionnaire and assign a score based on a standardized scoring system worth 100% of your total score.


ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION and VACANCY INFORMATION:
Candidates who passed the assessment are placed on the Eligible Register list in the order of their score group for a period of twelve (12) months.We will use this Eligible Register list to fill vacancies in the Department of Public Health as they occur.

NO PERSON MAY COMPETE IN THIS EXAMINATION MORE THAN ONCE EVERY TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

Applications will be processed as they are received and added to the Eligible Register accordingly.

AVAILABLE SHIFT:
Any including evenings nights weekends and holidays.
