Are you in your 3rd year of your planning degree and looking for relevant hands-on experience to kick start your career
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside some of the countrys most experienced community planners on interesting and diverse projects in an innovative and challenging team this role you will have exposure to Growth & Design Policy and Strategy as well as a range of Planning Services.
This is a hands-on role where you will undertake program support tasks to contribute to the development and implementation of planning projects policies local and regional strategies and plans. This includes preparing and reviewing local environmental plans carrying out environmental impact and development proposal assessments and participating in field work and site inspections. You will also respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries and provide planning advice to stakeholders.
About you
To be eligible to apply for temporary employment within the Department of Planning Housing & Infrastructure students must be in their third year of completing a Planning Degree and be an Australian citizen or have the status of permanent residence in Australia. This role is 12 months temporary employment with the possibility for extension.
